I graduated from San Jose State University with a BFA degree in painting in 1980. At the time I painted mostly as a hobby and worked in retail management because i didn't like the term "starving artist". It wasn't until i moved to Florida in 2005 that i got more serious in my painting.
I was a signature member in the Florida Watercolor Society, and my work appeared twice in the prestigious Adirondack National Exhibition of Watercolor, as well as the Kansas Watercolor Society National Exhibition, three times at the Florida Watercolor Society as well as several local shows. I was also selected in an advertising campaign with VisitFLORIDA promoting Florida in Brazil.
I recently am semi retired and am looking forward to working full time as an artist.
